I'm trying out this blogging thing for the first time, just to see how it goes.
It's about 1:30 am where I am right now. Hot and humid outside, which is why I am here sitting in my bed watching VH1. As of right now VH1 is talking about stars and their virginity. Honestly, who cares right? I certainly don't. But then again it might seem like I do considering I am writing this blog about it. I just think that it's so ridiculous the things that come on T.V these days. Talking about being a virgin and promise rings means nothing to anyone. The only person it means something to is the person wearing it. Do you think your changing anyones minds about having sex if your NOT having sex? I don't think so. If someone wants to have sex, they are going to have sex. No one, especially you, is going to change that. Sure you think that your a role model and you are trying to set a good example but in the end, that person isn't going to sit there and say "Hey! (famous person name her) changed my life! It's just not going to happen. I happen to a be a firm believer in God, and I understand that sex before marriage is considered a sin, and I'm not trying to mock The Bible or anything, but sex happens. It just does. It's a natural thing that occurs and sure it should be enjoyed after your married, to the one you love and care about, but come on people. This is the 21st Century. Everything revolves around Politics, Sex, Drugs, and Money.
Another thing is all these people say "Safe sex is no sex" but then again they aren't married and sure they have relationships and sure they have sex. How hypocritical is that? Very hypocritical I think. I've spoken my mind about this situation. I'm sure this isn't the most interesting thing in the world to read, but then again, I'm a beginner so have some patients. :)
Thanks for stopping by my site. Good luck with yours. Lurve the purple!

ReplyDeleteGood first post! I like to think life revolves more around family, love, hope and faith [not the religious kind, just faith in something] and not politics, sex, drugs and money.
ReplyDeleteIt's all in the way you look at it.
Good luck on your blog journey.
